If you have ever given any thought to a new career then you should consider a career in heating ventilation and air conditioning. There are constantly job postings and never enough trained and certified heating ventilation and air conditioning mechanics or technicians available to fill the positions posted. Heating ventilation and air conditioning is one trade where there is room for growth and upward movement. Education
Pursuing a certification in heating ventilation and air conditioning requires some formal education. If you are not a school person and would prefer to gain you certificate through an apprenticeship program that might be an option for you. When work in an apprenticeship you work under a trained, skilled and certified heating ventilation and air conditioning mechanic. This may take you a bit longer than if you were to pursue your certificate through a program at a college, university or technical school but in the long run you will receive the same certification.
Online programs are available as well. If you live in the Miami area you can pursue your heating ventilation and air conditioning license through online programs such as the ones that are offered at Everest University, Lincoln College of Technology or Southern Technical College. All of these online schools offer programs for residential heating ventilation and air conditioning.

The average salary for a heating ventilation and air conditioning mechanic is approximately $40,000. It is important to understand that though the base salary may seem a bit low there is usually the opportunity to work overtime hours.
