If you have given some thought and would like to join the field of heating ventilation and air conditioning you will need some formal training and schooling before you can go out into the field and work. Schooling for heating ventilation and air conditioning mechanics and technicians can vary depending on where you take your classes and what the requirements are for the particular state that you are planning on working in.
Most programs of study for heating ventilation and air conditioning take anywhere from six months to three years. It all depends on how much experience you have and if you have any other training.
