Applied Technology Services

This is located at Met Center Campus in 6347 Plymouth Avenue and offers technical education to adult students through the Special School District of St. Louis County. They offer four certificate programs specializing either in Basic Refrigeration Theory, Basic Electrical Theory, Home Heating and Cooling or Commercial Refrigeration. Completion of this program requires a 90-hour class participation. For those who further want to have an American Technician Excellence (NATE) certification, he should complete an additional 45 hour program and have a two year field experience.

St. Louis Community College

This is located at 5600 Oakland Avenue which offers an Associate degree in Applied Science specializing on Mechanical Engineering Technology. The program requires their students to earn 70 credit hours before he can have his certification.
