Washington DC HVAC Training Education

You can learn many skills needed to succeed in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) maintenance and installation through the standard 2 to 2-1/2 years of training. You may find out how to use various hand tools such as tubing, soldering, fasteners and brazing. The classes also will help you develop skills in:

The Washington DC area requires every HVAC contractor to register and obtain a “Specialty Contractor License”. The license costs $40. You also must have insurance and post bond to qualify.
